It's going to be a tough grind but they just have to win their games and let everything else fall where it will. They won't have a chance if they don't win their games.

They are getting fantastic goal tending that never hurts and a lot of character guys plus you added a scorer in Gaborik things aren't looking to bad. How is the schedual for you guys in the remaining games ?

That's the tough part: The next six are on the road and the Jackets are 5-11-2 on the road this year but 13-5-5 at home. They also have a West Coast swing where they play Anaheim, LA and San Jose, all currently playoff bound teams, in a four day span.

They are kind of like the Peg of last season where do you're 3 picks sit right now? do you think they trade for a better one and for another roster player or just use all 3 wherever they land

There own stands to be around 11 depending on the lottery of course. The Rangers pick is somewhere in the middle of the first. LA's will be in the early to mid-20's. Of course if the Rangers and or Kings go deep in the playoffs those picks could be even later.

I could see the Jackets do any of the things you mention. If the get an offer of a good young NHL player now for a first I could see them making a trade. If they like a player high up in the draft I could see them moving up. I could also see them picking where they end up.

Yea hard to really go wrong with the options the gm has this year with 3 first round picks the options are almost limitless I am hoping my team doesn't bight on a rebuilding team like Buffalo offering Vanek for like a first haven't had a hole lot to be excited with for the most part come draft time with my team but this year we could get a very high end talent if we don't screw it up

Here's a Preds fan hoping that the BJ's make it to the playoffs (and keep those disgusting Wings and Wild out, too!).

In all seriousness, the fans deserve a playoff run as a send-off to the Eastern Conference.

Really hope you guys make the playoffs, you guys deserve it... Couldn't help but notice that Blue Jackets fans are never cocky or rude towards other teams, unlike any other fan base. By the way how is Blake Comeau doing for you guys?

Did BC ever get into any scraps? He's not been as physical as advertised.

I only remember him getting into 1 scrap in his 2 seasons with the flames, he did punish alot of bodies though. He also has a fairly nice shot if he gets set up in the right position.
